from 1638 reviewsFreaking delicious - the langoustine aroma oil is a sensation!

Outside, the air grew crisp and thin,
but warmth began to bloom within.
A ramen kit, yet more than that —
it tasted like a hearth, a chat,
a memory steeped in yuzu light,
to soften the edge of a lengthening night.
A bowl to bridge both sea and land,
crafted with care, by steady hand.
KANADA YA × MATSUDAI — sublime duet,
a melody of comfort I’ll not forget.

An amazing fusion of proper Birria with top quality ramen. Would absolutely recommend in a heartbeat.

My favourite collaboration/special yet.

Brought 5 sets of the babhaus ramen as we have tried their birra before and loved it. It’s just as good in this ramen and it all comes together beautifully.

Every now and then I get a hankering for ramen. I could make it myself, of course I could, but I'd need to assemble all the little bits and pieces that make it such a flavourful meal. I could go out for ramen, but then I couldn't eat it in my PJs watching a favourite TV show.....this is where Matsudai RAmen really comes into its own.....incredibly flavourful, and with the little additions that make ramen the comforting meal it is....the pork, the egg, the veg, fungi, noodles, and that AMAZING broth....this is the best of all options to me. It's so easy to put together and tastes amazing. Win win win!!

Great kit, easy to assemble. Tastes like a restaurant meal. Really recommend will be ordering again

Love this chilli oil!! I have tried a range and this is my new go to

It was so good, beat my expectations. Will definitely be ordering again!

As always wonderful food delivered as promised ☺️

This collab has really truned 2 countries’ national dishes on their heads and into something rather special. Its like having a burrito and a ramen and having the best of both. I love the rich thick soup coating the wavey noodles that are just the right thickness. The birria is super tasty and light. The pickled jalapeños give it a lovely acidity and cruchy sliced onions give it texture. The salsa completes the dish like the sourcream in the burrito. My bowl of noodles looked even better than the online picture. Bravo!

As with all Matsudai kits, this one was really easy to cook & assemble thanks to the guidelines on the website. What really made this one pop though was the aroma oil- it gave the ramen a subtle seafood flavour that paired beautifully with the Tonkotsu broth. I'm very tempted to serve my next one (because I will be ordering again) with a mix of prawn and/or langoustine; possibly adding some shredded crab meat to the broth too.
