We sell ajitama eggs as a fresh addition to your frozen ramen kits.

We deliver our eggs with a minimum 5-day shelf and they should be stored in the fridge. So order eggs with your kits if you intend to eat your ramen in the few days following delivery.

Amazing ramen

This is the third time we’ve had the pork ramen. Each time with the extra egg and it was 5 stars each time. Next day delivery too. We will definitely be ordering it again.

Getting a perfect jammy yolk is difficult at the best of times, they manage to do it, send it, have a normie heat it back up and it still turns out beautifully cooked. Witchcraft! But absolutely perfect and delicious

Small portions

The broth is delicious but the amount of food on the basic package is tiny so if you want to eat enough you will need to order the extra meat. Works out quite expensive this way so I am not sure I would order this again

Tonkotsu Ramen (Frozen)

Hard to judge fairly as the majority of the ingredients were missing, what was there was nice and would buy again. The egg was phenomenal.

The crown of my ramen dish

I am an egg fan, love all sorts of styles, but if i have to describe an epic egg moment is eating matsudai sunset red with an ajitama egg! It is perfection!

The extra you don't want to forget

These delicious eggs soaked in soya and mirin with a barely set yolk just top off ramen like nothing else. More than an extra, they are a necessity!

Amazing Flavours

We tried Matsudai posted meal kits on a whim and were amazed by the quality of their product. Our first delivery was screwed up by Evri who took nearly a week to deliver a 24 hour guaranteed delivery, but the Matsudai team were incredibly helpful. I cannot recommend them enough. We live in London, and while there must be a quality place closer than Cardiff, we haven’t found it. I’m particularly fond of their tonkotsu, and their flavour oils and toppings are fantastic. I haven’t tasted anything like this outside of Japan.

The best ramen I have ever had other than in Japan. The depth of flavour of the broth is exceptional and the pork and the egg. Perfect!!

Eggs are always well cooked and marinated, never had issue, my suggestion is to use it straight away and avoid freeze it, did it once and wasn’t a great idea
