a ramen shop is a good place to be in december. it's cold, you come in, the windows steam up, someone orders karaage for the table and then everyone orders karaage for the table.

we do christmas parties three ways: a set menu for groups during normal service, the whole restaurant to yourselves, and january parties for anyone whose december is already a write-off.

too busy in december? loads of people are. hospitality lot especially, you're all working. january is quieter, cheaper, and the ramen is arguably better when it's properly cold outside.

final menu gets confirmed nearer the time. drinks can be as simple or as involved as you like - welcome drink, tokens, beer and wine packages, highballs, and a yuzu soda worth ordering even if you are drinking.

capacityprivate hire works best around 30-48. smaller groups can have the place to themselves if the minimum spend works.

deposit20% to confirm the date. it comes off your final bill.

final numbers7 days before, or 14 for a whole-restaurant hire. numbers can go up after that if we've got room, but not down.

vat and serviceevery price here includes vat. we add 10% service, and all of it goes to the team.

food choicesparties under 16 order on the night. 16 and over pre-order, and we'll send a list out with your final numbers.

getting herewe're in grangetown, five to ten minutes in a taxi from the middle of cardiff. for bigger hires we can help sort taxis or a minibus.
