when will it arrive

we ship monday to friday for next day delivery, tuesday to saturday. order by 2pm the day before. delivery is £5.75, free over £60. some postcodes are excluded.

how do i cook it

fifteen minutes, straight from the freezer. thaw the toppings under the cold tap. broth pack into boiling water for 10 minutes, chashu in for the last 2. noodles as instructed, then build. full instructions.

can i collect instead

yes, and it’s free. cardiff, weds to sat evenings and saturday daytime. taffs well, monday to friday in the daytime.

what if i’m not in

please send it somewhere someone will be in to take it. if plans change, you can change the address up to 9am the day before, or once it’s dispatched use the tracking link to leave it in a safe place or divert it with the courier.

do i need anything else

the kit is complete except for anything fresh. we don’t include onions or vegetable toppings, as they deliver terribly. if you’d like an egg, you can add one with the extra toppings.

can i subscribe

yes. kits arrive automatically each month and go straight in the freezer. what you pay depends on the kits and extras you pick. how subscriptions work.

OMFG!

I treated myself to a ramen kit for a home alone girly night dinner. And what a treat it was! The broth was soooo unctuous and slick and tasty and the egg ridiculously jammy. Perfection 👌
I am pretty articulate but I do not have the words to describe the deliciousness of this! I have no experience of the authentic Japanese version but this was EPIC and I can’t wait for the next one 😋 YUM 💓

Good quality ramen

The ramen tasted so good and delish! The meat and soyed eggs are perfect. The only thing I would like to say is the clear ramen broth has too much MSG for me. Other than this, the whole dish was great.

Clear broth Ramen

While I like variety, I still favor the Tonkatsu Miso ramen my favorite. The Yuzu shio was a bit bland for my taste.

got it for my boyfriend and he broke up with me a week later

we went to the restaurant a year ago where i met his dad for the first time. The meal was lovely! A year on I am living in Warsaw and since we were long distance i sent him the ramen kits for his birthday. He loved them and he was very happy with his gift. Unfortunately the kits enough were unable to salavage is fading love for me. I hoped we would return to the restraunt one day, however that shall now not happen. Please look into shipping to Poland, I would love to order some for myself!!! Even better set up a restaurant in Warsaw, that way I can go and meet someone else’s parents there. Either way your ramen kits dodged me a bullet and for that I can i my give 5 stars.

When I think Matsudai can't do any better but it turns out they always outdo themselves. Lovely citrusy ramen flavour, perfect for the summer

Every dish we've had from Matsudai has been delicious! The quality of the food is superb and the dishes are super easy to put together. Fantastic customer service as well!
