These noodles are fantastic, however when they are put on to boil, the outside noodles are often cooked before the middle noodles have un-clumped. If they could be frozen in an O or a donut shape, this would allow them to cook more evenly :)

Noodles are the best outside of Japan. Makes Ramen so enjoyable. We just buy these, freeze or keep in the fridge. Thank you. Repeat customer for sure. Thanks so much.

This was my first ramen and it was delicious. Easy to make. We chose vegetarian options.

Real authentic Japanese taste outside of Japan! I couldn’t believe it comes from Wales. Absolutely smashed it out the park with Tonkotsu Gyokai Miso ramen. Would love for this to be in the regular menu but I guess it’s a special limited edition for a reason. Looking forward to the next special! Good work team Matsudai!

Honestly game changing, packing was great, flavours were incredible

For those days you are very hungry and just want extra noodles for your Matsudai ramen kit.

To use Kaedama for any dishes that require noodles, simply follow website cooking instructions (these vary for thickness and fresh vs frozen). I would recommend running them under very cold water afterwards, until ready to incorporate into recipe.

The flavour and texture of Kaedama (extra noodles) are anything but basic!

Why are the extra noodles a different type / style to the ones in the ramen kit?

Great hand made noodle. Good portion for kaedama.

Didn’t arrive

Took 2 weeks to arrive. Vegan garlic dish was so strong and with poor instructions we added all of the garlic. Soup was tasty but a lack of relevant instructions (via the qr code) wasn’t ideal.

Always need the extra noodles with my ramen ❤️

The chicken base broth was superb, the best yet. I sometimes make my own ramen broth but have a high standard to aim for. Thanks

Once you’ve had these noodles, dried and instant ramen just won’t do any longer.

I really have enjoyed the two ramens from Matsudai. Mainly they taste great but they also get all the boring stuff right - packaging, delivery. Recommend them highly.

The ramen was so much fun to assemble and so nice to eat. I've been eating ramen for years, but have never attempted to make it myself. Thanks for the opportunity to give it a go, in a very safe and organized way!

My only bit of constructive criticism, is the citris peel in the shoyu broth, tasted like it diverged perhaps a bit too much from what could simply be defined as an original japanese taste. Otherwise, we really enjoyed it, and have been recommending it to our friends.

Amazing noodles and week worth getting the extra bag of then to finish off the broth.
