Although there was a small error with the order, the Matsudai team contacted me straight away and gave me a voucher (which was incredibly gracious of them). What came wasn't strictly Gyokai miso but as always it was incredible. The ramen kits are incredible quality. If you're considering ordering just do it. You will not regret it.

Eggs are always well cooked and marinated, never had issue, my suggestion is to use it straight away and avoid freeze it, did it once and wasn’t a great idea
Cannot fault it, never eaten at Matsudai restaurant but the ramen via post beats any ramen I've ever had elsewhere.

The bowls are truly superb very high quality and looks beutiful, however don't get the chopsticks or spoons, they are far less quality than the bowls and not worth the money.
I bought a few kits for a birthday gift. The team were really helpful in quickly responding to my query on ingredients. We were really impressed with the quality of the kits and the depth of flavours.
