Our ramen kits are made by hand with care using top-quality ingredients, and delivered frozen for long-lasting storage. Each pack contains broth, tare & oil (combined), specially-paired noodles, and either chashu pork or soboro topping.
DELIVERIES
National delivery takes place every Thursday and costs £6.95. We deliver around the Cardiff area by hand every Friday and this costs £3.95. Order cut-off is end of Tuesday for national delivery and end of Thursday for local delivery. Minimum order £19.50.

I had ordered this product for an early valentine's day meal, but unfortunately, due to snow in my area, the delivery company were unable to deliver. James, at Matsudai, was so helpful and polite in all the contact I had from him with this matter, contacting the courier and then sending a replacement product the next week so I wouldn't miss out. I was so impressed by how much they did to try to solve the issue.
When we got the ramen, it was well worth the wait. The instructions and packaging meant putting it together was really easy to follow and it definitely took us back to Japan. I thought it was really nice that the spice was added individually to suit your taste. Would definitely recommend and definitely order again.
Soup is so intensive, you will enjoy it until the last drop!
Bought to share with my parents and my partner for Valentine’s Day. Quite spicy and absolutely delicious, reminds me of some of the ramen we used to eat in Japan. The ajitama flavoured egg and the chashu were particularly amazing.

I had to half the spice because it was punchy but just a personal preference......I spent 3 years in NYC on the hunt for the best ramen in the city and Matsudai wins hands down!

A handsome portion of smoky, savoury chashu tofu, spicy sunset powder, sharp tare, creamy broth and fresh, firm noodles, this ramen is no vegetarian afterthought but stands on its own merits whatever your dietary preferences. As soon as it's available again we will reorder.
So simple to make & literally looked like a restaurant meal. Tasted amazing too.
For a vegan meal this tantanmen ramen is absolutely delicious and packed with flavour. The first time I had a a vegan ramen from Matsudai, I thought they'd given me a meat one by mistake because it's so yummy!!
This dish is just perfect. The attention to detail of all the flavours is exceptional and I can’t wait to eat it again!
