Our RAYU is a chunky, medium-spiced Japanese-style chilli oil, loaded with toasted sesame, garlic, ginger and umami. Salty, smoky and a little bit sweet, with a lingering-but-friendly kick - it lifts just about anything.

It started life as the chilli oil for our ramen - the Sunset Red Tonkotsu especially - but people started putting it on everything. Spoon it over eggs or pizza, stir it through rice bowls and noodles, or serve it alongside grilled fish, meat and veg.

refined rapeseed oil and antifoaming agent E900, SESAME oil, gochugaru (red pepper powder), garlic, ginger, SESAME seeds, spring onion, ichimi (powdered red chilli pepper), water, sugar, tamari (water, SOYBEANS, salt, spirit vinegar), flavour enhancer: monosodium glutamate E621, kosher salt

I was expecting the chilli oil to be really spicy but I was pleasantly surprised with it, its not too spicy it mostly brings out extra flavour from the ramen. All in all I would recommend

I have built up a fair collection of chilli oils and this is by far my favourite, such a great depth of flavour with a nice hit of chilli. The oil is gray and the “bit” very tasty
