what it actually is

we don't have a function room. we've got a ramen shop in grangetown with fifty seats in it, and for one night it's yours.

the kitchen is right there, so people can watch their food being made. the windows steam up. we've done birthdays, team dinners, a couple of wakes that wanted to be less grim than usual, and at least one party nobody will confirm the details of.

no carpet, no lectern, nobody in a waistcoat telling you where to sit.

what you get

• the whole place, usually 30 to 48 guests
• a set menu we build with you, with vegan and veggie done properly rather than bolted on
• the bar, staffed. beer, sake, highballs, cocktails
• your playlist, or ours
• five to ten minutes in a cab from the city centre, or a twenty minute walk

rates

prices include vat. we add 10% service and all of it goes to the team.

the boring bit

• deposit20% holds the date and comes off the final bill.
• final numbers14 days before. they can go up after that if we've got room, not down.
• foodparties under 16 order on the night. 16 and over pre-order.
• dietariesvegan is always there. tell us about allergies before we sign the menu off.
• finishing up11pm, unless we've sorted a late licence in advance.
• cakebring one, no charge. just say so first, then it turns up with candles and plates.
